Apple's Next CEO John Ternus Expected to Drive Innovation and Global Expansion
Ternus Era at Apple: Innovation and Expansion
Bloomberg's Apple expert Mark Gurman predicts that if John Ternus has a successful 15-year run as Apple's CEO, the company will invent new product categories unseen from other companies. Gurman suggested that Apple could bring the car project or some form of mobility project to fruition and even enter the humanoid space, moving mountains in that tricky area.
Global Supply Chain Restructuring and Company Valuation Growth
Ternus is expected to successfully relocate and spread Apple's manufacturing worldwide, ensuring the company is not tied to China or Southeast Asia. Specifically, he will lead the charge to move silicon manufacturing from Taiwan to the US and elsewhere at a faster pace. These efforts will reduce risks and strengthen Apple's global footprint. Furthermore, like Tim Cook, Ternus will likely at least double or triple the size of the Apple ecosystem and user base, ultimately making it a $10 trillion company. Most importantly, Gurman emphasized that retaining the Apple brand as the strongest technology brand in America and not losing steam to newcomers like OpenAI and Meta will be crucial.
