Jang Dong-hyuk Respects 'Yoon Again' Resolution, Vows Best Effort for Local Election Victory
People Power Party (PPP) leader Jang Dong-hyuk stated his position on the 'Yoon Again' opposition resolution, adopted at Monday's general assembly, at the National Assembly on the 11th. Representative Jang emphasized that he respects this resolution, which was announced under the names of all 107 PPP lawmakers, and will do his best for victory in the local elections based on it. He made it clear that this decision reflects the unanimous will of the lawmakers, adding that as party leader, he respects the resolution.
Urges End to Controversy and Calls for Change for Local Election Victory
Jang Dong-hyuk stated that for victory in the local elections, the position articulated at the general assembly must be the PPP's "final stance." He urged an end to further internal debate, saying, "Any more controversy will not help us win the local elections." He also warned that elaborating on the detailed process of the resolution's adoption or its discussions would "become the start of another controversy."
