Police have sent Independent Rep. Kang Sun-woo and former Seoul City Council member Kim Kyung to the prosecution under arrest in connection with the nomination bribery allegations. They are suspected of exchanging 100 million won in nomination bribes, and the investigation results come about two months after the allegations first surfaced.
Charges Filed and Case Details
Police have charged Rep. Kang Sun-woo with violations of the Political Funds Act and the Improper Solicitation and Graft Act, as well as breach of trust in receiving bribes.
