Multivitamin Intake Suggests Cell Aging Delay, Study Finds
Multivitamins Suggested to Delay Cellular Aging
According to a recently published study, taking multivitamins daily may contribute to slowing down the aging process. Researchers tracked hundreds of adults for two years, observing their multivitamin intake. This study analyzed the effects of vitamin consumption on the body at a cellular level, suggesting potential benefits.
Research Findings and Future Challenges
Over the 24-month study period, participants who took multivitamins showed an average of only 20 months of cellular aging during that time. This finding suggests that multivitamins may decelerate cellular aging compared to the actual passage of time. However, despite the promising results, researchers emphasized that more additional research is needed before multivitamins can be officially recommended as an anti-aging method. Currently, this can be considered early-stage evidence that vitamins, as simple supplements, possess an effect of delaying aging.
