UK PlayStation users have filed a £2 billion (approximately 3.4 trillion KRW) class-action lawsuit against Sony. 12.2 Million Potentially Eligible for Compensation; Sony Emphasizes 'Privacy'
The lawsuit includes approximately 12.2 million UK users who purchased digital PlayStation content over the past decade. If successful, each user is expected to receive around £162 (approximately 270,000 KRW) in compensation. Sony countered that its official store offers advantages for privacy protection and that sales revenue is reinvested into console development.
